We don’t live in a rural area, but our neighborhood has been chosen by the powers that be to have our utility services upgraded. That sounds all good and fine until you actually have to live through the torn up yards, 100+ daily workers in the neighborhood, and constant service interruptions that we have endured. After months of these nuisances, I don’t see any improvement in any of the services that were promised. In fact, some of the services have actually declined. For example, nobody can explain to me why our internet service is cut off every single time it rains…even a tiny bit of rain. Boy is it annoying!
